What exactly is the SandBlaster Bait Caster? Well, If you have spent anytime fishing from the bank, you have probably on occasion, wanted to be able to cast your bait jussssst a bit further. Maybe you’re fishing where wading would be too hazardous or impractical and the fish seem to be just out of your casting reach. Frustrating I know, its happened to me more than a few times. Or, you’re surf fishing and the birds and fish are busting bait off the beach, but it’s too far and too deep for you to get there.

Now, there are long casting instructors and videos that will teach you how to increase your distance. Nick Meyer of BreakAway USA has several and is a former Olympic long casting coach. He has his own tackle shop as well and can supply you with all the necessary rods, reels and accessories to get you casting farther.

The Bunker Up Fishin compact cannon is made of solid stainless steel and non-corrosive material. This cannon can shoot your bait up to 300 yards! The compact unit is great for transporting the unit around. The entire unit folds up allowing you to simply grab the barrel and move around easy. There are some advantages to the compact SandBlaster. It is fold able and takes up less room than the original, the barrel is shorter but they claim that has no effect on the distance. This extra convenience of being fully assembled and fold able does come with an extra price however. So, it just depends on what you need. If space is an issue, then the compact may be the way to go. If price is a sticking point, then the original will be your best option
